Nicole Carlson, LCSW, PMHNP-BC

I am a therapist and psychiatric NP who firmly believes in accepting what you cannot change and changing what you can, for the better. I believe that we can change how we think about situations and improve our overall mental health and wellbeing. We all have it in us to live our best lives–lives that we are proud of, that we enjoy, that we take chances in and accept the possibility of failure, that we grow and develop in, and that we surround ourselves with beauty and kindness. I am also driven to constantly learn new things, to adapt, and to be able to function amid the unexpected, even in the face of my own fears and limitations. I believe in walking this journey alongside you as a guide, but helping you to do your own work so that the skills you will learn continue to benefit you no matter what you face both now and in the future. I absolutely love integrating technology into therapy and I appreciate the freedom that the Internet has given us to travel, to learn, and to adapt in ways that we never could have imagined a generation ago.
